First, I want to share that I am very picky and have very high expectations! When searching for an attorney that could represent in KS/MO - we interviewed many attorneys. My final interview was with Cheri Cole Simpkins. While meeting with Ms. Simpkins she was straight forward with me and we like th...at. I shared our struggles with the some of the parties involved with the case. She picked the phone up and called those attorneys with me sitting there. Cheri was constantly in contact with us. She was early to court each time, never once late on anything. She met with us in-person and via phone as needed while preparing for our case. She spent countless hours prepping, researching other cases and laws that had been introduced in recent years that would help support our case. When it came time for the hearing, she properly prepared us for our testimony. Explained the process very well and I was very comfortable knowing that she had walked me through it and we knew what to do. Ms. Simpkins performance in court is remarkable. I was actually blown away. She was able to pull the truth out of parties that had been dishonest throughout the case. Ms. Simpkins is very kind, but when someone tries to come at her clients who are in the right, by law, she takes it very seriously and does what it takes to get her job done. We won our case. She presented cold had facts and cross examined appropriately. I can't imagine using another attorney. Our outcome was exactly what I expected of her. This attorney will deliver! I highly recommend Ms. Simpkins. She is very well educated, has an outstanding reputation, and her performance is remarkable. We cannot thank Ms. Simpkins enough!

DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY! As a previous client, she did such a terrible job I had to report her to the bar. She does not work in the best interest of her clients. She’s lazy and does not want to do any work. She is disrespectful and speaks down on her clients. She sent me other clients personal Infor...mation such as their SSN, W-2, other tax information and even their dependents SSN. She makes false promises and agreements just to get her clients to concede then breaks those promises. She charged me a trial retainer and we never went to trial and she kept all of my money. She over charged here hours and even charged for her personal items not related to the case. Again do not use this fake attorney!

Cheri has been my lawyer of four years. She fought tooth and nail to get me sole custody of my children, won me alimony for the rest of my life to help me stay financially the same as I did when I was married. She was always quick with ideas to help in the next situation that occurred with my ex husb...and. She has always been very respectful to me as a client and always took the extra mile to get what I deserved. And she even showed up as my support at a completely separate court case that still involved my ex husband just to gain more insight to help in our cases. Very impressed as a client.

We hired Cheri about 2 years ago for the adoption of our oldest little girl. Cheri kept in constant contact with us throughout the process and made sure that we felt like we were part of the process. Our paperwork was filed correctly the first time and we were able to expedite the final hearings. We ...thought she did such a great job handling the first case that we hired her for our second adoption. Things went just as smooth and we highly recommend her services, especially if you need an attorney willing to fight for you.

She never called to inform me on what was going on I always had to call her to find out new things about my case every time I called I got her answering machine I always left a message for her it took her a week or ...more to call me back every time I felt like she agreed to every thing my kids mothers lawyer presented instead of what I wanted . After taking all these parenting classes she said to take that would help with My case never helped at all I spend loads of money on my case and to this lawyer to get screwed the outcome was my kids mother was awarded sole legal custody and sole physical custody instead of joint custody an this lawyer had my child support raised $300 dollars with supervised visitations. This is a lazy lawyer that won't fight for you at all .
