Lisa earned her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1999, graduating magna cum laude and ranking 12th in her class. While in law school, she was a member of the Public Law Review from 1997 to 1999. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rockhurst University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and graduated summa cum laude.
Prior to joining the St. Charles, Missouri team at Stange Law Firm, Lisa built an impressive career across both state and federal legal systems. Most recently, she served as an Attorney Advisor for the Board of Veterans Appeals, where she drafted comprehensive legal decisions on veterans’ claims, providing critical legal analysis and guidance on complex administrative appeals. Before that, she worked for over five years with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings Operations, helping to resolve disability appeals through detailed review and legal interpretation of medical and factual records.
Earlier in her career, Lisa spent more than a decade with the Missouri Division of Legal Services, where she held multiple roles, including Managing Attorney for Child Support Hearings. In that capacity, she not only supervised hearing officers but also conducted administrative hearings, developed legal training programs, and handled a wide range of child support and juvenile law matters. Lisa also has experience in private practice, including representing clients in domestic litigation and handling complex insurance matters. She began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District, where she assisted in drafting appellate decisions on a broad array of civil and criminal matters.
