Nashad Omar Carrington

Nashad Omar Carrington is the managing attorney for The Carrington Firm, P.A. and concentrates the firm's practice in the areas of entertainment, media, technology, employment, business transactions, criminal defense and domestic relations. 

His representative work is seen in the courts of St. Louis County (MO), St. Louis City (MO), the Appellate Courts of the Eastern District of Missouri, as well as the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. He has been responsible for representative matters dealing with major corporate entities, aggreived employees, sports franchises, commercial landlords, civil and personal rights violations, non-profit entities, and the everyday common man as well.

In addition to his private practice, since 2015, Nashad has been the Lead Prosecuting Attorney for the historic City of Kinloch, Missouri; representing the city and its residents in the pursuit of justice for crimes and other violations committed.

Nashad earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas, Bowen School of Law. While there, he served as President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and an integral member of the Street Law Society mentoring program for local high school youth, culminating in a mock trial program. He was an active member of the Black Law Students Association, and an on-camputs representative for Kaplan Bar Review. Nashad participated in a summer visit to Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, where he undertook intesive study in the laws affecting E-Commerce and Internet Privacy.

Between 2004 and 2014, Nashad had the opportunity to work for small and large law firms in the Midwest region, a large Southeastern multinational telecommunication company, and a New England based internet startup securing over $100 million dollars in investment. With an experience covering commercial litigation, technology, privacy, entertainment, etc., Nashad leads the firm in a direction that capitalizes on business accumen and client satisfaction. 

Following those experiences, Nashad decided to focus  With a diverse practice background, including The Buchanan Firm, P.A, the Overton Firm, P.A, the Pulaski County Public Defender's Office, the New York Yankees, and the YES! Television Network.
