Howard A. Shalowitz

This guy is pushy and doesn't accept realistic timelines for factual cases. He is over zealous and rude to county officials, which ultimately made the people doing the actual work take longer. Two thumbs down for this guy. As a Jewish man id say find a different as we aren't all like that! Don't let ...him leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Over the past 20 years, our family has hired Mr. Shalowitz for numerous cases including personal injury, divorce, writing our wills, traffic tickets, and more. He always took our calls right away or returned our calls by the end of the business day. We have always been satisfied with the outcome of o...ur cases. When other lawyers wanted to charge us out the Wazoo so they could line their pockets, Mr. Shalowitz tried to settle the case from the get-go knowing how these cases usually turn out. Only an experienced, ethical, and loyal attorney would do this. It seems that nowadays lawyers just want to continue the litigation so they can make more money. Fortunately, Mr. Shalowitz is not one of those Lawyers. Why can’t all lawyers be like him?

I consulted with Howard on a cold snow day in early February 2022. i was in duress and he took my call when all offices were shut down and gave me a good bit of his time free of charge. He was honest, thoughtful, knowledgeable and very professional and in that one phone call, I was instantly comfor...ted and felt better. I thank him greatly for this and will most certainly hire him in the future should I ever need his help again.

I am a court clerk and Mr. Shalowitz went above and beyond the call of duty for me and for my son. He did not bill for much of his time, he knocked down his bill, and gave us a payment plan. This was appreciated considering many family law clients try to stiff their lawyers because, no matter what,... they will never be satisfied. We were 100% satisfied!! The matter was handled in about 2 months -- I received custody of my son and received child support from my ex. We had an excellent result and we would recommend him to anyone in need of an attorney. It is refreshing to know that ethical lawyers are still out there who deal fairly and honestly with their clients and the other litigants and lawyers.

I have used Howard for many cases ranging from workers compensation to criminal. My family and friends have used Howard as well and have been nothing but satisfied. I have recommended Howard to several friends and co-workers with much praise and success. I have known Howard for 12+ years and am sh...ocked to see the below review with 1 star, she probably lost her case and blamed Howard for her criminal acts. He is the most honest person I know and would never 'double bill' or treat anyone, let alone a client, with anything but respect. If you want the best legal representation, hands down it's Howard Shalowitz.
