Successful motion to modify child support

I sought out Amy Cantor to help me reduce my child support (filed motion to modify). She helped guide me through the process - set up conference meetings with the opposing attorney and assigned judge. We were thrown curve balls throughout the process, and Amy handled them very well, and ultimately ...my case went to trial. Once at trial, she was able to negotiate a significant reduction in child support. Her costs were very reasonable, she was well prepared, and I was very pleased with the results. I would recommend working with Amy on any family law issues/cases.

Excellent Attorney

Amy has been very upfront with me from the first time we discussed my case about what she could or couldn't do to help me. Amy always contacts me personally and in a timely manner. She has been very good about explaining all the issues that have come up along the way. I feel she has been very profes...ional but also kind towards my feelings. I would not hesitate to contact Amy again for any further legal help that I may need in the future.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
