Tate Can Solve Your Student Loan Nightmare

If you need help with a student loan situation, Tate is your guy. My only regret is that I didn't meet him sooner. From scheduling a consultation to completing the settlement, he made the process simple. Tate is an absolute professional - very competent but also friendly. He put me at ease in an othe...rwise very stressful and uncertain situation. Tate set clear expectations up front and remained in regular communication throughout the process, which for me took several months. Everything he told me in our consultation that he anticipated would happen basically happened that way. He deals with these situations a lot and it shows. He managed to negotiate my settlement for even a little lower than he originally estimated (44.5%). Don't get me wrong, the settlement amount was still a lot of money considering I'd already paid back the amount borrowed to begin with. That had nothing to do with Tate though. He helps you work through the REALITY of the situation. It doesn't mean the situation is pretty. If you weren't feeling trapped in a hole you can't climb your way out of, you probably wouldn't be considering his services, right? :) I tried strategically defaulting (unsuccessfully) on my own in 2016. The lowest offer I ever received from the creditor was 67% of the balance. That was after months of regular phone calls, them calling my family, etc. It was awful. I strategically defaulted again in spring 2019 and after a couple of months of going at it alone again with no success, I found Tate's website. It's exhausting talking to these folks, even once a week. They run through the same script over and over. At that early level of collections, you're not getting anywhere with them anyway. The process consumes your energy that is better spent on things that will actually produce a positive result in your life. Within a couple of days of finding his website, I had a consultation and he'd outlined a plan moving forward. As soon as we had an agreement in place, he took over all communication with the creditors and they stopped calling me. This alone was such a relief. I really stopped thinking about it except when he updated me. Because he was so good about communicating, I sort of knew what time frames to expect. People can try to go at this alone, but with near certainty most people would not be able to produce the same result as Tate. The fact that he's an attorney and you've hired him tells the creditors you're over it and doing something different. He is familiar with all of the creditors, their collection units and even many of the people in each unit. I have no doubt that his representation 1) expedited the process, 2) improved the result, and 3) preserved my sanity and 4) gave me peace of mind about my future. If you're realistic about your situation, then Tate can help you better than you can help yourself. It's really that simple. I hope this helps someone. I am so thankful I found him and he helped me resolve this issue that has weighed on me for so many years, despite trying to pay off the loans in good faith.

Bring It, Student Loan People!!!!

I was referred to Atty. Tate by another lawyer that I completely trusted. I was feeling very overwhelmed by all of the "red tape" of the Dept. of Ed. and the collection agency handling my case. After our first meeting, I knew that I had the right person on my side. He was able to navigate the sys...tem , swiftly and thoroughly, all while keeping me in the loop of communication. Retaining Atty. Tate was one of my best decisions, I just wished I had contacted him before my situation "got so out of hand".
