Stopped my Ex in his tracks!

Mike Easley absolutely saved my life. I was seven months into my divorce process and it was going nowhere! I had been assigned an inexperienced and passive lawyer with another law firm and she had stagnated my divorce. She had given up all the ground I should have had going into the negotiations and ...my ex was getting very over-confident that he was going to get all of his terms met (even though he was in contempt of court on his paperwork and refusing to make responsible payments). He was winning every battle at every turn. He was confident I would end up footing the bill for everything because everything was going his way. When Mike took over my case he got me sole physical custody of my kids, child support, complete rights to my house. He instantly calmed my nerves, turned the tables back around, and righted my life. He got me my divorce quickly and on my terms!

Stole my deposit and custody filing fee.

In 2011, we hired this attorney to file for a step parent adoption for my biological son. We paid the filing fee for the case and his deposit. He never filed the case (per the court) and he stopped answering our calls. He moved shortly after and never returned our deposit or filing fee for a case tha...t was never filed. We ended up hiring a different attorney who successfully completed our case in 2012.

Family

I was represented by Mike during my divorce. During this awful time he was able to fight for what was right for my children and was incredibly knowledgeable in family law. He truly cared for the outcome and I wasn't just another client whom he was getting money from. I unfortunately had the experi...ence of working with a previous attorney whom was only concerned about billing me to death and tried to encourage me to do things to drag the case out to make more money when it was apparent it was not the right thing to do. Mike is who you want if you have to go through any type of family proceeding.
