Stephen Gregory Davis

Stephen is a trial lawyer who represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of business disputes in Missouri and Illinois state courts. Many of his litigation matters involve contract disputes, fiduciary disputes, real estate disputes, mechanic’s liens, unfair merchandising practices and fraud. He has also represented individuals seeking to recover for their personal injuries caused by the negligence of another. Stephen represents both plaintiffs and defendants, and advises clients proactively to prevent or minimize litigation, yet, where necessary, he draws on his experience to vigorously represent his client’s interests. In his representation of Condominium & Community Associations, Stephen provides a full range of client services with an eye toward aggressive and affordable representation. He currently represents over 60 associations. Stephen also represents non-profit corporations generally with regard to corporate governance issues and compliance with other requirements that may apply under state law. He has attended board meetings and public meetings of non-profit corporations, as well as advised on printed materials prior to their publication. Together with the experienced attorneys in the firm’s Criminal Defense practice group, Stephen represents individuals accused of criminal matters, no matter how serious the crime charged. Stephen has appeared for clients accused of crimes in Missouri state and municipal courts.
