Robert Boedeker joined the Center for Family Law in 2025 as an attorney of counsel after 14 years of practicing family law in the private and non-profit sectors. In the last ten of those years, he worked exclusively with survivors of domestic violence, providing trauma-informed representation in complex cases. His practice focuses on divorce and paternity cases, child custody and child support cases, motions to modify, orders of protection and mediation in St. Louis County, St. Louis City, St. Charles County, and Jefferson County.
After receiving his law license in 2011, he worked at US Legal Solutions, LLC, an immigration and civil firm in St. Louis County, doing family law and mediation cases. In 2015 he joined Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Inc. as a staff attorney in the Lasting Solutions Family Law Program and in 2017 became co-manager of that program.
Before law school, he lived in West Africa doing humanitarian relief work with Jesuit Refugee Service and in North St. Louis City helping run a shelter for homeless women and children. He graduated from Coe College in 2003 with a BA in French and Sociology. Robert was born and raised mostly in St. Louis City and currently resides in North St. Louis County with his wife and three young children.

"Robert is a skilled and compassionate attorney. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Robert and see the knowledge, dedication, and professionalism that Robert provides for his clients."
"I have handled cases against Robert in the past and have known him in the legal community for quite some time now. He is an excellent attorney, who zealously advocates for his clients. Robert is always well prepared and ready to help his clients. I would feel confident sending a potential client to Robert knowing the type of quality representation they would receive from him."
"Robert is highly regarded in the legal and judicial communities as an exceptional, honorable and admirable family law attorney. He treats his clients with respect and dignity and they are quite pleased with the results he is able to get for them. I have known him for years and I finally had an opportunity to refer a case to him and to work on the case with him. I was glad my client chose him as their advocate and I enjoyed working with Rob and seeing his diligent, hard work first hand. I will definitely continue to refer future clients who need family law advice to him with confidence."
