Outcome Driven
Well I don't agree that we should rate lawyers like we would comment on a meal at a restaurant, but I do believe Nathan Cohen had my best interests in mind when he tried my case it was a long drawn out custody nightmare and he reassured me throughout the whole thing, even calling me in the evenings to make sure I had the correct information. When I had problems getting off work he came in on Sundays to get my case ready for trial. I selected Nathan is my attorney after interviewing three other lawyers

Happy Momma!
I used Mr. Cohen when my ex tried to modify our divorce decree to pay less child support. Mr. Cohen gave me great advice through the whole process and I ended up getting an increase in support and some of my attorney fees paid by my ex. Mr. Cohen was so professional in court and I could tell he was well respected. Even though I wish I had not had to pay for a lawyer, I was astonished by how much my ex had paid to his attorneys compared to what my own fees were through Mr. Cohen. I'm one happy momma that Mr. Cohen got me to keep custody of my kids and an increase in support. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an understanding and knowledgeable attorney!

Revenge reviews
Nathan represented my cousin and my aunt in their custody cases. He is an excellent attorney. He helped us through a difficult time. I am responding to the negative postings about him because they are clearly posted by my cousin’s ex and my uncle. This is an indication of what a good lawyer Nathan Cohen is!

Best in town
Thanks Nathan! This is the best family law attorney I have seen in St Louis. He was straight to the point and didn't let my ex's attorney run the courtroom. He didn't waste time and money on pointless arguments and I received a better outcome than expected. Conveniently located also. All around great guy with a lot of knowledge and talent.

Nathan is a great guy and lawyer.
I can't say enough about Nathan. He got me through a terrible time. My wife filed for divorce and threatened to take my kids away from me. I was devastated. I trusted him from the very first consultation. He just seemed to know what to do to help me. I listened to everything he said and did exactly what he wanted me to do. In the end, I got full custody of my kids and they are doing great. I will only use Nathan for my legal needs. He is now representing me with my business.

Nathan Cohen is a wonderful lawyer!
I was referred to Nathan by a co-worker and am so glad that she did because I was extremely satisfied with his services and the result of my case. Nathan got me in right away once I called and told him who referred me. My first consultation was free and he gave me a full hour of his time. He was honest about my case and was upfront about his fees and costs. He told me things I wanted to hear and some I didn't but he was the only lawyer I interviewed who was honest with me and I appreciated that. As it turned out, he was right about everything and I spent less money than I expected because my case was quite involved. His office staff is pleasant, patient, and knowledgable. I felt like they were my partners and support network through my whole ordeal.

Divorce expertise
Terrible case but not unusual according to him. He was right. Spent a lot of time with me and I spent half as much as my wife paid her lawyer.

Communication could be better
Nathan is a knowledgeable lawyer. He was able to give me peace of mind with my case. Lack of communication ended up ruining my experience with him. Which was billing issue... billable hours were not discussed, but were expected. Sticker shock threw me for a loop. Due to my lack of knowledge of that part and my request for an itemized list of services,(before I would make any other payment) Nathan ended up filing a lawsuit against me. again, he is a skilled lawyer, but filing a lawsuit against your own client seemed a bit unprofessional.

Horrible
Nathan was a dream seller ! Nathan had me thinking I would be ahead in the case being that I presented all my evidence / facts that I had a solid case to come out with a decent fair result but it didn’t happen like that, it was very unjust ! Everything went in favor of the other party as to me over paying in child support even though I 100% took care of my child. Nathan was also horrible at communicating with me with important things that should have been communicated. Another thing he wasn’t worth what I paid at all! I will not be recommending him or dealing with him in the future for anything else.

Useless
The first consultation went great. After that, I don't think he had our best interest in mind. He charged us for information that we already had access to. I paid the amount agreed upon, he continued to send addition bills for small petty work. I was actually expecting money back from him due to the lack of information and work he provided. I can't recommend him.

Get it in Writing
I hired Nathan in 2008 to represent me in a divorce case in Clayton. He promised actions that were never followed-up on and seemed more interested in networking on my dime. I knew I was in trouble when one of the statements reflected that I was charged $400 to look over paperwork when the only court action that was provided was the filing. When it was all said and done I essentially spent $2200 for him to file the initial pleading. I suggest doing careful research for a reputable attorney prior to entering into an agreement as well as making sure that you get everything in writing prior to retaining them.
