Horrible

Nathan was a dream seller ! Nathan had me thinking I would be ahead in the case being that I presented all my evidence / facts that I had a solid case to come out with a decent fair result but it didn’t happen like that, it was very unjust ! Everything went in favor of the other party as to me over p...aying in child support even though I 100% took care of my child. Nathan was also horrible at communicating with me with important things that should have been communicated. Another thing he wasn’t worth what I paid at all! I will not be recommending him or dealing with him in the future for anything else.

Useless

The first consultation went great. After that, I don't think he had our best interest in mind. He charged us for information that we already had access to. I paid the amount agreed upon, he continued to send addition bills for small petty work. I was actually expecting money back from him due to ...the lack of information and work he provided. I can't recommend him.

Communication could be better

Nathan is a knowledgeable lawyer. He was able to give me peace of mind with my case. Lack of communication ended up ruining my experience with him. Which was billing issue... billable hours were not discussed, but were expected. Sticker shock threw me for a loop. Due to my lack of knowledge of t...hat part and my request for an itemized list of services,(before I would make any other payment) Nathan ended up filing a lawsuit against me. again, he is a skilled lawyer, but filing a lawsuit against your own client seemed a bit unprofessional.

Best in town

Thanks Nathan! This is the best family law attorney I have seen in St Louis. He was straight to the point and didn't let my ex's attorney run the courtroom. He didn't waste time and money on pointless arguments and I received a better outcome than expected. Conveniently located also. All around great... guy with a lot of knowledge and talent.

Get it in Writing

I hired Nathan in 2008 to represent me in a divorce case in Clayton. He promised actions that were never followed-up on and seemed more interested in networking on my dime. I knew I was in trouble when one of the statements reflected that I was charged $400 to look over paperwork when the only cour...t action that was provided was the filing. When it was all said and done I essentially spent $2200 for him to file the initial pleading. I suggest doing careful research for a reputable attorney prior to entering into an agreement as well as making sure that you get everything in writing prior to retaining them.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
