Julie B. Hovermale

Julie Hovermale represents workers injured on the job in both Missouri and Illinois. She has over 15 years of experience handling workers’ compensation cases. Prior to joining G + S, Julie was the lead attorney representing employers in workers’ compensation cases at Roberts Perryman P.C. in St. Louis. Before relocating to St. Louis, she was an associate attorney at Sorling Northrup where she handled workers’ compensation cases representing employers. Julie’s defense background gives her a unique perspective and competitive edge when it comes to representing injured clients.

Julie began her legal career as a staff attorney for the Chief Judge of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Hovermale received her B.A. from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Julie is originally from Granite City, Illinois and currently resides in Webster Groves, Missouri with her four children. In her spare time, she enjoys running and acting/singing/choreographing dance in local community theater productions.
