Would definitely recommend to a friend!

We used Kim's services in a mediation case. Kim was very kind, warm, and understanding. She listened attentively as we explained our "side" of the case. We felt very comfortable sharing our story with her. She was a breath of fresh air in a very stressful sitiuation. Kim helped both us & the oth...er party to reach an agreement when it orginally looked like neither side would budge. She was very patient and dedicated to help both parties to come to a resolution. I would definitely recommend Kim to a friend.

Mediation much better than expected!

Kim was assigned by the EEOC to mediate a claim against my prior employer. She was very professional, warm and courteous, asked a lot of questions to understand my side, and started the mediation with a very clear set of guidelines for both sides to follow. Her stated goal was to have the case resolv...ed, and she offered to do anything to bridge the two sides. At times when one side would stall, she would work with the other to find something else to keep the conversation going. My lawyer representing me was very impressed with her and at the end of the day, both sides had reached an agreement that was very satisfactory. I'm not a lawyer, but I walked away with the distinct impression that she had deep knowledge of the psychology of the lawyer of each side, very intuitive, and honed in on many subtle areas that turned out to be important. Definitely would choose her again if I ever needed a mediation!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
