David P. Senkel

Mr. Senkel represented me in my divorce approximately ten years ago. This was an emotional and stressful time in my life. I had never needed or communicated with an attorney before, and was concerned about being able to trust one. I contacted Mr. Senkel, and after my initial consultation, I knew I wa...s in the right place. Mr. Senkel was understanding and patient, through all my tears and even some sobbing! But, most importantly, he was professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything to my understanding. He is straight forward and doesn't beat around the bush. He will tell you like it is, and doesn't leave room for misunderstanding. He made sure everything was completely clear to me and advised according to the law. When I understood the options that I had, he advised me and then allowed me to make my decisions without any pressure, or force of opinion. I was very pleased with his handling of my case. I have contacted Mr. Senkel probably a dozen times since then about other matters, and I have always received a clear and prompt response! I would definitely recommend Mr. Senkel!

I have now used Mr. Senkel in two separate custody cases. When the first case presented itself, I did have a lawyer that I had used on occasion. I went for my consultation but I also asked a lawyer friend for the best lawyer he could recommend because this case was of difficult nature. He gave me Mr.... Senkel's name. Although both consultations were of a different outcome, I preferred the first lawyer's outcome better. However, my heart told me to go with Mr. Senkel. What he said to me during that consultation was that he too could tell me that same outcome, but the laws were going to recommend different. He went on to say that he did not want any of his clients coming out of the courtroom blindsided and that is exactly what would have happened had I not chose Mr. Senkel. When the Courts would appoint another person for a particular reason, it was ALWAYS important to Mr. Senkel that I felt comfortable with the appointment and that they were not being biased. He gives his all to each client and case, making you feel your his only one. He is determined to achieve the best result for you and truly cares about his clients. He never gives you the feel that it's all about the win to him, especially when a child is involved. When dealing with children, their well being is of utmost importance to him. He is extremely smart, knowledgeable and an amazing negotiator. He prepares you each time you are going to the courtroom and for every possible question that couId be thrown your way. He makes sure you are thoroughly prepared and never caught off guard. I believe he is respected by both those he represents and those he opposes. I could not ask for, nor could I recommend, a more competent or qualified attorney. He is more than prepared when he enters that courtroom. If he is not available when you call, he immediately gets back to you. If he is out of the office, someone in the firm is always able to answer questions or guide you in the right direction. Office staff is also very important to me and they are unbelievable as well. They treat you as if they have known you forever. They are welcoming, friendly, efficient and always there to lend an ear. After leaving their office, you will usually have an e-mail waiting for you summarizing that particular day by the time you have arrived home and a paper copy in your mailbox the next day. I am so very grateful to have had Mr. Senkel and his firm working on my side for the last several years! I highly recommended him and his staff.
