I went to Mr. Patel's office after I was charged with a DUI. Although I didn't speak to Baku Patel, I was assigned to another lawyer, Steve Sarm. Steve was excellent in communicating the details of my case, made sure I understood the process and was available to answer any questions that I had. As far as DUIs are concerned this man knows absolutely nothing. He completely screwed my case after I consulted with a REAL DUI attorney in Chicago I found out I could have had my license back about a year and half ago but because of the MANY things this lawyer did not inform me of my process has tu...rned into what will now be a 2 year ordeal. I just don't think he should advertise himself as a DUI attorney if that is not his knowledge base.
