Biography
Terry Dodds is an Illinois Personal Injury and Workers Compensation Attorney. However, Mr. Dodds also represents auto accident claimants and counsels clients in the areas of criminal law, divorce and family law, dui and other traffic-related matters.
HistoryEstablished in 2005.
After completing his studies at SIU School of Law, he began his legal career working for the Missouri State Public Defender's Office in Buffalo, Missouri. During the two year period, he worked for the State of Missouri, he defended both misdemeanor and felony defendants and tried his first cases. He then entered private practice in Springfield, Missouri working for a successful civil litigation law firm which primarily represented personal injury, workers compensation, and medical malpractice claimants. There he did trial and appellate work, including arguing his first case before the Southern District of the Missouri Court of Appeals. Terry is likely one of only a few attorneys in Bloomington, Illinois who has argued before both the Illinois and Missouri Court of Appeals. Terry previously represented indigent clients in the courts of McLean County pursuant to a contract with the McLean County Public Defender's Office. He also previously served as the Board President of the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington.

Represented me after an auto accident
Mr Dodds represented me after an auto accident which left me with lingering neck and back issues as well as post concussion problems. The issues were ongoing for over a year. Terry was able to quickly understand my issues, file suit to protect my rights and guide me through the process.

Terry for the win!
Terry is a no nonsense lawyer who fights for his clients. He listens to what the client wants out of the case and strategizes the case to be presented in the most efficient and effective manner possible. I cannot recommend him high enough for what he has done for myself.
