Before James P. LeFante opened his own personal injury law office, he worked for some of the same insurance companies he goes up against today. His particular niche was medical malpractice. It was not an inspiring line of work: Attorneys worked hard to devise ways to deprive injured persons or their survivors of the benefits promised to them in their policies.
It was a relief for Jim to leave that business and to take up representing ordinary people here in Central Illinois, who have been injured through the negligence of others, and to obtain rightful compensation for them.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer. James (Jim) Lefante is a fellow member of the National College for DUI Defense, a select group of defense lawyers who have the knowledge and trial skill to successfully try and win DUI cases in Illinois. Very few lawyers have that skill and Jim is one of the few who do. He not only possesses tactical trial skill but also the ability to observe defects in the State's case that most lawyers would not observe, as well as the dedication to present them to the court in a persuasive manner.
