John Patrick Lonergan

In 2016 I was cited for speeding over 26MPH which is a misdemeanor in Illinois. On top of that I was speeding in a construction zone. Three days after receiving this ticket I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend college. With all the craziness of the move I missed my court date. Fast forward to 2021 ...and I get accepted into my nursing program only to find out that I had a bench warrant from 2016 for not appearing in court due to this ticket. My heart completely dropped.
