Tami has been handling my custody issues, post divorce for the last 2 1/2 years now. I cannot say enough good things about her and all she has done. I wasn't 100% satisfied with my divorce attorney and I decided to switch because I didn't think he had done much for me given the large amount I had pai...d him, so I went to the internet and started searching for attorneys and stumbled upon Tami and her colleagues. I took a leap of faith based on her favorable reviews and I could not be more glad that I did. At every step, she has been available and accessible. She responds to all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner and has helped me navigate through the legal system. Her billing has been very fair and I have felt like she treated my money like it was her own. She has done such a good job for me, in fact, that I have referred other clients to her. My only regret is that she wasn't the attorney I hired for my divorce. If I had it to do all over again, she definitely would be.

I was very nervous about meeting with a lawyer. My stepdaughter was needing to be out of her home situation immediately. Initially meeting Tamara I knew we had gone to the right law firm. She listen to what was going on with my stepdaughter, also very concerned for her safety. Tamara gave my husb...and and I some options to try first, because it seemed like the best choice. We came back into her office after we were finished at the court house, with no resolve. Tamara was out of the office when we came back in. She had just happened to call while we were there. She wanted to check to see if there were other options besides, emergency order of protection. We were asked if we could wait to go home, because we live Wisconsin, Tamara didn't want to have us come back as we leaving the state to try something else. We waited and I must say the receptionist was always very pleasant and welcoming! Tamara called us back and she was going to try and get a emergency order of temporary custody. We knew we might not get it because it usually takes weeks to get on the docket. Tamara was able to get us before a judge within a matter of days which never happens. We were able to get permanent custody of our step daughter, Tamara made a stressful situation a little easier. I know it doesn't go this well all the time. Tamara always kept us updated and wanted to see how things were going. She worked very hard for us. We are so grateful that we did choose this law firm. I would recommend this law firm to everyone ! I went in and hired Tami with the mind set that my ex and I had everything divided and this was going to be quick and easy l, so of course Tami's job would be also quick and easy....I was so wrong! As my ex started to change his mind about EVERYTHING we had previously agreed on, Tami took the bull by... the horns and handled my case with so much time and care. She stayed completely professional while making sure my ex and his attorney knew where we stood and what was going to happen! Tami was good about telling me if I was asking for too much but also telling me when I leagally could ask for things I had know clue about! I remember listening to her talk to the judge, the other attorney and myself at times and thinking " wow, this woman is brilliant and really knows her stuff!" I cannot say enough about Tami, she never made me feel rushed or like I couldn't talk to her as a person! She responded to me ALWAYS in a timely manner ( even at 9 pm on a Sunday night) when my ex was trying to pull something! Finally, after 10 months of dealing with so much pettiness I was divorced and walked away with more than I even told Tami I wanted in our first meeting! Hands down the best divorce attorney around! If you're looking for an attorney that will fight for you and your kids while remaining professional, ethical, and with some sass then do yourself a favor and hire the best which is Tami Meister!!!
