During his time at the State’s Attorney’s office Nick prosecuted numerous misdemeanors and felonies. As an associate with Bernabei, Balestri & Fiocchi he practices criminal defense as well as concentrates in residential real estate transactions, estate planning, probate estate matters, and guardianship. His professional associations include LaSalle County Bar Association, Bureau County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development. Nick received his Bachelor degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006. His Doctor of Jurisprudence was earned at Northern Illinois University in 2010.

Real Estate transaction
Nick was our attorney when we were selling a home in another town. The buyers were from out of state, sold their home and were looking for a quick transaction. Nick handled everything promptly, professionally, and he did it during the holidays...no easy feat. OUTSTANDING
Being new to the area and not knowing who to turn to when a legal matter came up, I was so fortunate to have found Mr. Balestri. Real estate transaction(s).
We had to sell two homes to purchase another in a period of a month. It seemed almost impossible to accomplish. Nick was able to make it happen. He was able to coordinate between the lenders, buyers, sellers, villages and title companies to make it seamless. He kept us informed almost daily of the issues and what he was doing to resolve them. We were amazed the he was able to make this all happen in less than 30. days. We will be using him for our estate planning in the near future.

Above and Beyond
I recently was charged with a DUI. Within just a couple of days, Mr. Balestri had the paperwork filed with the SA office. He was straight forward with everything that was going on with the case. His actions and knowledge went above and beyond my expectations.

Legal Structure
Mr. Balestri helped me set up the LLC for my practice. I don't have a clue when it comes to the legal structure of properly running a business but Nick was able to answer all my questions and concerns in great detail. I would advise Mr. Balestri to anyone!

Nick is Amazing!
Nick helped my wife and I complete our first wills. We did not truly know what all went into the process and Nick was great at explaining everything in great detail. He is very knowledgable and a pleasure to have done business with!
