Michael John Galvin

With over thirty years of experience, Michael Galvin is eminently qualified to provide the highest level of legal services to his clients.

During his career, Mr. Galvin has been a member of the Rock Island Bar Association and been appointed to that organization’s Board of Managers. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Iowa, the Federal Bar and has argued before the Seventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.

Michael Galvin is a lifetime resident of the Quad Cities having graduated from Alleman High School. After graduation he walked down the street and enrolled at Augustana College where he double majored in Economics and English. Realizing he had a great education in two fields that offered few career opportunities, he realized his childhood dream of attending law school. He was fortunate enough to be accepted to Valparaiso School of Law. Upon graduation and pursuing the Bar he took a position with Potter, Gillman, Galvin, Konecky, and Keesee in Rock Island. Within five years, he became a full partner.

Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Galvin was a member of the Quad Cities Postal Credit Union board of Directors for 15 years. He also served on the board of the Bettendorf Family Museum for several years. He is the father of three beautiful and talented daughters and is fortunate to be married to his amazing and lovely wife Kitka.
