Slow responses and contempt issue

During the time I had retained Ms. Berman I often experienced long delays in her response and last minute hurried decisions. Further, she gave advice that was not in alignment with the court order with respects to child support obligation and which could have resulted in a contempt of court decision.... Ms. Berman did not provide a level of service consistent across her client base and fee structure. I would advise you watch out for these and other types of issues when retaining her services.

I am disappointed that Jamie was unhappy with my representation but he failed to mention that my representation of him concluded 2 years ago. By all accounts he was satisfied with the outcome as he contacted me on many occasions after his file was closed seeking my advice and guidance. When he contacted me last Spring asking me for my assistance in modifying his financial obligations I declined as I did not believe it would be in his interests to do so and I cautioned him against taking this action as I felt it could raise issues as to his compliance with certain financial issues. . Despite my advice he went ahead on his own and my concerns proved to be correct. He contacted me the day of his hearing in a panic seeking advice but I was unable to call him back and he expressed his anger over this with my staff even though I did not represent at that point. Had he followed my initial advice he would have had a better outcome. I wish him the best moving forward.
