When I emailed Barb to ask how the tax office ended up changing its record of my current home address to an obsolete one, she started by reminding me that I had reviewed and signed the deeds – so apparently it was too much for her to express some responsibility for and to explain her decision to insert an invalid address which had escaped my attention. Seven weeks have passed and I am still awaiting that explanation – and it wasn’t the only error! While in her office to sign the documents prepared for us, I was worn down passing page after page to her to correct typographical errors in the text -- blamed on a computer system conversion. Are you OK with lawyers who ask you to sign documents that have not had their prior critical proofreading for accuracy? You decide.

Barbara is knowledgeable and professional but I was beat at the pre-trial by opposing attorney and it kind of caught her off guard. The explanation of why I lost the pre-trial was not satisfactory and forced a divorce settlement that I found wanting. Sometimes competent lawyers make an error or two... and I think unfortunately this was one of those times.
