Charles Evan Zivin

Charles Zivin joined the Sherwood Law Group team as an associate attorney in 2016.  He focuses his practice in the areas of general litigation, personal injury and worker's compensation, real estate transactions and litigation, business transactions and corporate litigation matters.

Mr. Zivin was born and raised in Illinois. He grew up in Northbrook, attended Glenbrook North High School and went on to graduate from Indiana University-Bloomington, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in public affairs management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, as well as a business foundations certificate from the Kelley School of Business. After college, Mr. Zivin went on to earn his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Zivin excelled in his trial advocacy and litigation courses, earning him a Certificate in Trial Advocacy. During school he also clerked for two reputable civil litigation firms in Chicago working primarily on personal injury and worker’s compensation matters.

After being admitted to Illinois Bar, Mr. Zivin joined the Sherwood Law Group where he expanded his practice areas to include residential and commercial real estate matters, as well as business transactions and commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Zivin prides himself on his work ethic as well as his dedication to both his clients and the practice of law. He believes that open communication is keen to a successful attorney-client relationship and thus maintains a tight knit relationship with each and every one of his clients. Mr. Zivin’s persistence and commitment to his clients allows him to effectively and efficiently resolve even the most complex problems for clients from all walks of life.

Mr. Zivin is currently an active member of the legal community, including the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois Bar Association. He currently lives with his wife in the Chicago area.
