Lucas C. Figiel

Lucas Figiel is the founding and managing partner of Inverness Legal, Ltd., a firm dedicated exclusively to the practice of family law. Lucas has devoted his entire career to guiding individuals through divorces, parentage proceedings, orders of protection, and other family-law related matters. His practice includes property division, debt allocation, maintenance, child support, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, post high school education expense contribution and orders of protection. Lucas graduated from Northwestern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English literature and philosophy. Lucas subsequently earned a law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2003 with a certificate in Litigation and Alternate Dispute Resolution. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and has been admitted to the Federal General Bar of the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Lucas is also a member of the Advocates Society and the Illinois State Bar Association. Lucas proudly represents people in Cook, DuPage, Lake, Will, McHenry and Kane counties. Lucas is well-regarded by his clients, fellow family law practitioners, and judges for his knowledge of family law, distinguished oral advocacy skills, and diligence in seeing matters through to completion. Lucas speaks fluent Polish.
