Biography
Before opening Jacobson Mediation Group, I was a practicing divorce lawyer for over 12 years at one of the largest law firms in the nation, dedicated exclusively to matrimonial and family law. I focused my practice on the negotiation and preparation of marital settlement agreements, asset valuations, child custody matters, and pre-marital and post-marital agreements for high net worth individuals.
While working for Chicago’s premier family law firm, I was known for helping my clients—both men and women—achieve the best possible resolutions, even in the most high-conflict situations, as a result of my command of the law, commitment to my client’s priorities, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Given my extensive professional and personal experience addressing matrimonial and family law matters, I pivoted my career and launched Jacobson Mediation Group.
