Was in an accident in 2013, was injured and so was my wife. Didn't know what to do or who to call. I was referred to Charles Thurman and from the first visit I new he was looking to take care of our needs. Everything he told me to expect happened. The lead times and lays I was kept informed the whole... time. I am glad that we chose Charles Thurman and are happy with our results.

Initially I was very pleased with Mr. Therman's office and the meeting that I had with him. But after 8 months of ongoing treatment for my work related slip and fall (I have had a total of a year and a half of treatment already), he said unless I had "hard evidence" of my injury that I didn't have a ...case based off what information he has been given. My doctor has diagnosed me with nerve damage and facet joint issues as related to my injury. I also have mild bulging discs, partial loss of sensation and tingling in extremities, extreme muscle spasms and radiating pain. Treatment has given some relief but not enough and I experience pain daily. I have been jumping through hoop after hoop trying to get my issues resolved and pushing the doctor to give me a concrete diagnosis since I have had a year of treatment. When I finally had the "Hard Evidence" he asked for (a nerve test he had suggested) that showed I have damaged nerves in several of the areas that is being negatively affected, HE DROPPED ME as a client and gave me fivemonths to find another attorney to take on my personal injury claim. I still have 16 months to file my worker's compensation claim but knowing that I have been going to the doctor regularly 1-3 times a month, attending physical therapy on a regular basis, going to diagnostic test after diagnostic test and completing surgical treatments to alleviate some pain to my damaged nerves... it wasn't good enough. I did what any good client should do, provided regular updates on treatments, doctor's diagnosis, outcome of tests and treatments and what the doctor's plans for next steps. I have only met with him in person once. I provided the medical updates regularly to his paralegal, made sure the doctor's office and therapy offices were forwarding regular reports to him, and I had two phone calls since my initial meeting with him. His reason for dropping me was basically it wasn't going to be profitable for him. I have been doing all of the work! While I appreciate the fact that everyone is out there to make a living, abandoning someone just because his profit margin wasn't high enough doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about his intentions. People who desperately need help to get fair compensation from a corrupt process for their permanent injury, and have their medical bills and future medical treatment covered need representation, especially if they have a legitimate case to be considered.
