I provide general counseling and advise on all manner of labor and employment issues, primarily to small businesses. Areas include: EEO law, wage/hour, policy guidance, litigation prevention, and compliance training, among others. I also prepare custom handbooks for companies as well as advise on a wide-range of human resources issues.

I litigate matters in my main two practice areas, but I also handle some commercial litigation as well. I have practical litigation experience before local, state, and federal agencies in many jurisdictions including CA, CT, FL, IL, IA, KS, LA, and WI, to name a few. I have litigated federal cases in AZ, IL, MI, and D.C. and state court cases in IL, IN, and LA. I am admitted to the state bar of IL as well as 3 federal district courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

I represent condominium associations as general counsel and provide all related services including, among other things: advising on governance issues, conflict resolution, employment matters, fiduciary responsibilities of board members, development of and adherence to best practices, and recovering past-due assessments from owners. I also advise condo owners when conflicts arise with boards or associations.
