First Time Home Buyer

We used Kathryn as our attorney for purchasing our first home. It was a particularly difficult transaction (due to building permits needed by the seller) and she provided helpful guidance throughout the process. Kathryn kept our best intentions in mind and helped us successfully close.

Attentive, available, and incredibly knowledgeable professional

Kathryn handled the closing on our mixed-use commercial and residential space at the end of 2014 and we couldn't have asked for a more attentive, available, or knowledgeable attorney. The circumstances of the sale were unusually rushed, and the seller was flighty and odd, but Kathryn managed to handl...e the situation with remarkable aplomb and the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an amazing real estate attorney.

Honor, Integrity & Approachable

I have known Katie for 7+ years and she has always been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful whenever I had legal/real estate questions. In the past year my spouse and I actually we're in a position to retain Katie's services. We could not have planned out a better experience. Despite the fact that t...he seller in our transaction was quite difficult. Katie handled everything like a pro - before, during and even 6 months after the transaction when the seller tried to come back requesting additional concessions. Katie was on it!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
