The first time I was addressed as James, and not Mr. Goines. As a fellow lawyer, let alone client, that was unprofessional, and absurd. The billing rates were high and did not justify the little amount of work you did on the small estate my parents left behind. You counseled my sister to take advanta...ge of me in every way possible. You used the law as a sword every chance you got, and it was obvious. It seemed as though my parents' estate was treated poorly because it was not huge, like many are in the Bay Area. Many times you sent demanding emails, or letters, but then ignored my timely responses. Twice you sent letters before Holidays, which was petty, unprofessional, and something I never do in my practice, let alone my personal life. Zero stars would be appropriate. You failed to treat me professionally as a fellow lawyer. You failed to treat me well as a client and advocate for me zealously. You failed as a whole to provide good representation.
