Biography
John C. Kunes is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of law, where he completed certificate programs in both Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and Labor and Employment Law. For three semesters, Mr. Kunes participated in handling a wide variety of employment and civil litigation matters through the Law Offices of Chicago-Kent, the College's fee-based, teaching law firm. Subsequently, Mr. Kunes held a judicial externship at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under Administrative Judge Young B. Kim.
Mr. Kunes is admitted in Illinois and is a member of the general bar and trial bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is authorized to practice before the IRS nationwide.

Great real estate closing
John handled our real estate closing and did a great job. The buyer was in a somewhat questionable position, and John consistently reached out to her attorney to keep himself and us in the loop. He responded to any inquiry (phone or email) quickly and helped calm us down.
