NOT GUILITY-My husband was facing 30 to 50 years in prison for unlawful use and possession of a weapon, combined with being charged as an armed habitual criminal. At some point words were exchanged, and the Officer pulled his gun, and my husband turned his back and ran out of fear, with his hands up the entire time, hollering, “please don’t shoot.” When my husband was arrested he was held for approximately 48 hours and charged with possession of a gun.  The Officer wrote in his report, that my husband exited the car with a cup in one hand and a gun in his other hand. I was pulled over in January of 2016 and was charged with a DUI. This is the first time that this ever happened to me, so of course, I was absolutely freaking out. I met with two lawyers right away.
