Jeannie Gallucci

Jeannie Gallucci graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in May of 2001, where she was on the Dean’s List. She grew up in the food and beverage industry working at her family’s Italian grocery store, Gallucci’s, which has been a Cleveland landmark for over one hundred years.

Ms. Gallucci began her legal career practicing with an international trade law firm defending private and publically traded global manufacturing companies in litigation brought against them by the federal government as a result of their failure to comply with U.S. regulations. She also advised such companies on how to avoid further litigation by complying with the rules and regulations of over forty different federal agencies, departments and commissions.

She next practiced with a food and beverage law firm where she represented bar owners, restaurant owners, nightclubs, distributors and liquor dealers in litigation brought against them by the City of Chicago, the State of Illinois and the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau. She advised such companies on liquor license applications, liquor license disciplinary hearings, transfers of business ownership, land use and zoning as well as how to avoid further litigation by complying with the rules and regulations of the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois.

Ms. Gallucci next oversaw the commercial litigation department of a boutique litigation firm where she represented all manner of businesses in the food and alcoholic beverage industry and in the real estate industry including liquor dealers, bars, restaurants, real estate developers, general contractors, sub-contractors, architects and investors. She defended these clients in matters brought against them by the City of Chicago, The State of Illinois, U.S. Customs and the Department of Homeland Security. She handled their commercial litigation disputes regarding liquor control laws, land use, zoning, food and beverage laws, mechanics liens, actions for specific performance and contract disputes as well as other disputes arising from the operation of a commercial enterprise.

Ms. Gallucci started her own practice in 2009 and continues to offer corporate clients a more custom tailored approach to their legal needs. She is a strategic thinker who treats the whole client by developing a legal solution around their business objectives. She has an exceptional track record defending businesses in litigation brought against them by federal, state and municipal agencies, departments and commissions and thoroughly advises these same businesses on how to avoid further litigation through regulatory compliance. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Woman’s Bar Association. She is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Gallucci is been a Board Member of the William Guy Forbeck Cancer Research Foundation. This organization was founded to promote advances in the field of oncology, particularly pediatric oncology, by shortening the cancer research timetable. She is also a Board Member of 20% Theater Company which strengthens the presence of women in theater by producing shows written, directed, and designed by women.
