Kevin J. Clancy

I have substantial experience actively conducting and managing all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trial and appeal in a wide variety of cases including major contract disputes, business torts, consumer protection claims, class actions, product liability, closely held business disputes, insurance and employment. I work closely with clients to identify and manage litigation and operational risks associated with their businesses.

Substantial appellate experience including drafting appellate briefs, presenting oral arguments, and advising trial counsel on preserving error and drafting critical motions. I have handled appeals in the Illinois Appellate Court for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Districts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th , 11th and D.C. Circuits, as well as drafted an amicus curiae brief in the Illinois Supreme Court. I served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit from 1993-1994.
