He’s a horrible attorney. I used him for my home purchase because a co-worker recommended him. I was not satisfied with his work and the lack of communication that he displayed towards me, as the buyer. When I informed him that I was not interested in his services as my attorney for the home buying p...rocess, Dionte threaten to put a lien on my name, if he was not the closing attorney. Seeing that he was set on representing me at closing. Dionte lied about items that the seller agreed to correct, by stating the seller agree, however, when I requested the documents and emails between himself and the seller's attorney, he blocked me and marked my emails as spam. I would never use Dionte Durham as an attorney or will I recommend him. What type of attorney threatens to put a lien on your name because you no longer want them as an attorney? The process was only 1/3 of the process completed and he was requesting 500 dollars which most attorneys get at closing! He's a joke and if you care about the details of your home buying experience, I highly suggest a different attorney. Maybe one, that doesn't block a client when they request documents.
