David A. Williams exclusively represents individuals and families injured by the wrongful conduct of others and employees injured at work. This includes worker’s compensation and plaintiff's personal injury law cases that involve transportation (automobile, truck and railroad) negligence, construction negligence, foodborne illnesses, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death and the Federal Employers Liability Act.
David was raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where he attended St. Viator High School (Arlington Heights, Illinois) and, after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), attended DePaul University’s College of Law (Chicago, Illinois), where he was awarded a Juris Doctorate. David worked his way through law school, including a post at a prominent insurance defense firm where he demonstrated legal acumen beyond his years and earned an associate position after becoming licensed to practice.
During his time working for the defense, David defended corporations and their employees in a variety of personal injury matters.
After spending over five years honing his skills, David realized that his passion and talents were best served representing victims of personal injury. David’s experience as a defense lawyer gives him a unique perspective and advantage when representing his clients, including a sound understanding of how insurance companies and their lawyers analyze and evaluate cases.
David is dedicated to protecting his client's rights and serving as their advocate through a complex legal system. In additon to navigating legal challenges, he takes great satisfaction in serving as his client's counselor during an often difficult time in their lives.
David is currently an active member of the legal community, including the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He volunteers as a Panel Attorney for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and is an investigator for the Chicago Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee.
David lives in the southwest suburbs with his wife and kids.
