excellent legal representation

We hired Mr. Richards based on a referral, and throughout our interactions with him we trusted his advice, integrity, high standards, interactions with court personnel, legal advice and knowledge, and advocacy. Excellent Criminal Attorney

Mr. Richards definitely knows all there is to know about Criminal Law. Prior to hiring Mr. Richards, we had hired two other attorney's that failed miserably at getting justice for my son (a first time offender) who had gotten arrested for tying to be a drug dealer in Southern Illinois. With only one... Appeal left, I located Mr. Richards on the AVVO website and simply knew by the reviews written about him and his photo that he was our one last shot at justice for our son. We are so happy that we hired him. Overall, Mr. Richards was able to convince the court to reduce my son's sentence which will allow him to return to freedom in 2016. Mr. Richards was attentive, responsive to our questions & concerns and very knowledgeable about the justice system as a whole. We are so happy that we hired him. If you are considering hiring Stephen L. Richards - you're on the right path.

5 Stars But This Attorney Deserves More

Attorney Richards has the judge considering to vacate the conviction after 2 previous attorneys failed to do so. His knowledge of case law is profound and the application of such is subtle and exacting. The case is not complete, but we've come a long way. Many Thanks and many more!

Great Attorney!

I am a current client of Attorney Stephen Richards involving a case where I was fasly accused. My past lawyer sold me out, lied to me and caused me to agree to a felony charge based on false information of a threat. Attorney Richards was the only attorney out of several that knew what to do. He file...d paperwork in a timely manner and did not sell me out. As we are moving forward, he will speak to you professionally and TRUTHFULLY, and will fight aggressively for your life! This is by far the best attorney I've ever seen that will not play games but will fight for you like this was his own life!

he delivers

Attonery Richards through his cross examination was able to bring to light key pionts in the testimony of the planitif that delivered an aquitial in my in my behalf. The previous attonery had provided us no option but jail time. The previous attonery was unwilling to put any energy into my case.
