George Michael Vogl IV

Born in Blue Island, I returned to the Chicago area after graduating from Temple University's Beasley School of Law and Fox School of Business in 2000 with my law degree and an MBA.  I started my law career in 2001 at the law office of Peter Francis Geraci.  In the four years I was there, I went from being the fresh new bankruptcy attorney to the managing attorney of the Chapter 13 division.  While I appreciate the experience I gained in the huge bankruptcy firm, I did not like the "bankruptcy mill" atmosphere and lack of individual attention provided to m clients.  For that reason, amongst others, I left Peter Francis Geraci's office and went to Ledford & Wu.

Since joining Ledford & Wu in 2005, I have become a full partner with the firm and expanded my practice from just consumer bankruptcy to all sorts of debt relief assistance, including Chapter 11 business reorganizations, foreclosure defense actions, debt negotiations, mortgage restructurings and IRS Offers in Compromise.  Working in the smaller firm with a wider range of options for my clients has, in my opinion, allowed me to represent my clients much more effectively and with much more individual attention.

When not working, which is rare, I am an avid scuba diver, fisherman and Bears fan.
