Biography
Throughout my legal career, I have worked with my business clients to reach quick solutions to their legal problems. I emphasize efficiency by keeping things simple. Since I have a business background, I pride myself on being able to communicate with my clients not as a lawyer, but as a businessman.
I have been a trial attorney for most of my professional career, working primary in the area of construction and product liability law. In addition, I have devoted much of my time to drafting and negotiating construction and commercial contracts. I also have considerable experience prosecuting and defending mechanics lien claims.
In recent years, I have concentrated on advising construction, commercial and industrial firms about business legal matters. I have continued to devote considerable amounts of my time to drafting and negotiating construction and commercial contracts. I have expertise in contracts for international transactions, often working with foreign attorneys.
