James Thomas Rollins

Jim Rollins is a Partner of Sullivan & Associates, LLC. Prior to joining the firm, Jim has been a partner with some of the most well known firms in Chicago. Jim has represented clients across the United States in various state and federal courts, arbitration and mediation.

Jim also has been engaged as separate trial counsel for the specific task of trying claims to multiple courts. Jim is a trial attorney with more than 14 years of litigation experience representing businesses in a variety of cases including, but not limited to, product liability, construction, professional liability, transportation liability, employment law, property damage, and dram shop liability.

Jim has over a decade of experience representing insurance companies and their insureds. Jim has represented insurance clients faced with losses covered under policies for issues including but not limited to, products liability, mass tort litigation, trucking litigation, construction litigation and property damage as well as losses that fall under professional liability and medical malpractice.

Jim has successfully represented business entities of all sizes ranging from individual or family-owned business to Fortune 500 companies. Jim has also served as outside general counsel for a variety of corporations and small businesses. These included organizations in multiple industries, including but not limited to the real estate, building/construction, manufacturing, insurance, refineries and chemical industries. Jim’s involvement with his outside general counsel role includes corporate formation, strategic planning, risk management and litigation management.

Jim is a 2000 graduate of DePaul University and a 2003 graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law. He is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage County Bar Association, and the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Chicago.
