Judicial Lien

Mr. Helfgot obtained a judicial lien to enforce a 30+ years old child support judgment and succeeded in spreading the order to collect part of the delinquent amount from an heir's share of an estate. He drafted thorough motions, accurate in both facts and law and persuasively argued his points, desp...ite hostile and aggressive arguments and underhanded maneuvers by the lawyer representing the estate administrator, a close relative of the heir. He is intelligent, a good listener and a great analyst as well as thoroughly knowledgeable re debt collection law.

Tenacious Litigator

Ira handled a collection for my firm. He was assertive and no-nonsense in pursuing the defendant. Because of his firm assertion that we would take the matter to trial and through post judgment unless our firm was paid everything it was owed, the defendant ended up settling in the middle of trial fo...r the full amount and making prompt payment.
