Unprofessional and Dishonest

In the beginning he had my hopes very high. That he was outraged with the wrong that happened to me. We met at a restaurant in Chicago which required me to drive through rib fest going on. In the middle of my case He decided to withdraw and reported to The Judge there was a conflict of interest. Whic...h, the conflict was that he wanted to withdraw because of a counter claim against me from the other side. In previous times we discussed staying the case, which means, because I have an appeal for my conviction , that we would wait until my appeal went through and he wanted to originally do this. Then, he changed his mind and said let's just move forward we can work around the conviction. And in the end, the conviction is the whole problem, and he withdrew because of this. He was shrewd with me now, and I had never seen this side of him. He is all smile in the beginning to lure you in, and he has worked for the cops as an attorney so that should tell you more about his character. I was desperate, I am knowledgeable but I had a time crunch and I trusted him, which I should have be more alert , which is my fault. But for anyone else looking to hire him, I urge you to be cautious from my mistake. He is only concerned with making his business he just started grow and making a good face for himself, nothing else. I suggest finding a more honest, humble, experienced lawyer. Go with your gut.

I did my best to try to help Tasha with her case. I took her case on a contingency fee, so without charging her anything up front. At the beginning of the case, I won a very difficult contested motion to dismiss, which saved her case from being thrown out. This was a big win. As time went on though, I realized that it was necessary to withdraw as her attorney. I won't comment publicly about the reasons that I decided to withdraw, but this is always a last resort. After the judge granted me leave to withdraw, I did my best to try help her get another attorney. Her case was not prejudiced in any way. In fact, the court eventually appointed her an attorney for free after no other attorneys would agree to represent her.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Dan and I met as opposing counsel on a case, and even though we were opponents, he was professional and courteous. SInce that case ended, we have worked on the same side of a couple cases. Dan is insightful and a hard worker and I strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney who will to the extra mile to help."
