Van A. Schwab

Do not hire Mr. Schwab. Only out to make money for himself. He did not layout all the details in my divorce case as far as all the items I could be asking for in court. I had to look up laws regarding property division and consult with 2 different attorneys to kind out the about the things I could be... asking for in court, which Mr. Schwab said I can't ask for. He was only looknig for ways to bill me for more money. Mr. Schwab falsely accused me of making threats only because I had said I would like the Bar Association and the Better Business Bureau to look into the case. I reached out to and e-mailed opposing counsel to settle my own case which Mr. Schwab was over paid to do and did not.

Didn't inform me I could freeze accounts or get temporay child support or retroactive child support. I lost 3 years of child support because of him. He didn't inform of subpoenaing any bank records or such. My ex got away with thousands and also fraud. He bought a property while we were still leg...ally married and Van Schwab never found it or try to find anything out. He was more worried about getting taking my money rather than focused on the divorce and on getting me my rightful half. I would never ever recommend him to any one. He is clueless on the the details of going through a divorce. Horrible Lawyer. He was telling my ex husband the legal moves he had told me to take next. My ex husband told me that my lawyer was warning him about that stuff. He is definitely on the man's side in any divorce.
