This so called "attorney" mishandled my parentage and took my money. He did not file orders that were granted which caused me to miss out on money owed to me.. Then he left me high and dry. I hate that I cannot post screenshots of the text message thread that this unprofessional engaged in where ...I was begging for my retainer back because he was not filing anything like he said he would to get my retainer. I literally had to go to his office and make a fuss for over a month because he took my money and he did not do any work on my behalf. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY.

Steven Marshall served as the real estate attorney for my first home purchase--he never responded when I raised the issue of the size and accesibility of my parking space. During the closing he told me to call him when the taxes were due and despite repeated attempts to contact him, he has never ...returned my call. Do not trust this person with important business transactions--he is unresponsive. Most of the time you will be working with his office staff which were rude, seemed overwelmed and were also unresponsive.

I hired Steve to help me post decree. He didn't accomplish much. I had to fire him and hire another lawyer and still pay his fees. He relied mostly on the office staff who he told me in the beginning not to take advice from. He said "She is nice enough but don't take law advice from her." But she was... the only one to answer me on anything. I never received any paperwork, no explanation to what happened on phone calls or in court. I was told things were done when they were not. I had a simple case. I needed child support modified and a petition for rule against me argued. Neither one of those things were done after months. He also told me when I hired him not to worry about paying his fees he knew my situation and would accept payments as I could make them, and then filed a petition for attorney's fees against me. Steve wasn't that knowledgeable in with the process and caused me more work then needed. I was able to find a lawyer after I fired him who got what I needed done quickly and efficiently. I can't speak for his work in the real estate field. But I wouldn't recommend him for family matters.
