If you are involved in a child custody case, DO NOT use this law firm. Find other representation. You will LOOSE having this firm represent you. In addition, pay for your own GAL If you can afford one. Do not use the court appointed GAL. If I could rate them a zero, I would. I was initially ass...igned Angela Curry, whom said nothing the first few hearings. She constantly kept pushing a trail. That she stated I would need an additional $8000, to represent me during trail. Which I had already paid $2000 down and $600 a month. (Never missed a payment) The hearings were repeatedly extended, without her asking for deadline dates for deliverables of the petitioner. She subpoena work verification which prove the petitioner was lying about employment and did not request for dismissal. This dragged out for over a year. She went on maternity leave a month and a half before my trail. The attorney that took over the case did not receive any documentation from Angela to support my case. She left a blank folder. The new attorney assigned was Britney Retess, who seemed to be fresh out of the gate and inexperienced. She could barely speak confidently during the trail. She was unorganized and shuffling through stacks of papers to find supporting documents. I felt like I was there alone and even ask, if I could ask my own questions. I lost to someone presenting 2 check stubs, a place to live (That was paid for through a grant during covid for 2 years), and school registration forms to a school she had just registered to before court. It took her 3 weeks after for her to inform me I could file a motion for reconsideration. After she stated numerous times I could not file any kind of appeal. This firm just wants your money. They don't care about the clients and will assign anyone to your case. DON'T USE THEM.

Hired them for Tax issues. Bruce did my intake I told him that it was with a week they garnished my check they told me he will help with that asked income asked me to send him copies of paystubs. They also filed 2019 and 2020 taxes. So set me up with 500 a month payment when I have payed over 6K I... contacted Bruce he tells me my husband makes a lot of money and he does not qualified????now a new person starts contacting me Tom Buchmiller, I explained that how come after a year with this matter looking doing his taxes and paystubs sent to them they realized he can’t get help. I get federal state of New York and state of New Jersey taking out. As I mentioned before NYS was already garnishing never helped me with that. The TOM tells me ho difficult was to contact NJState and that they only thing he can accomplish was to make payments over 300 per pay check. I responded well no way I will fall into mor hardship if that’s the only solution let them garnish it. Something was not right so I look in Google and found NJ Advocate which is who you contact when the State don’t work things out with you. I emailed them and they responded within 24 hours. Tom “my attorney” who I payed to help me with this case was on the phone and could not get a hold of them or any option. So guys I’m linking emails as proof. I asked for my money back and they have not return it. I am currently with John buckmiller and associates. My attorney is Sahar and neglecting my case. The first time I spoke to her was about a week and a half after I paid them and she told me she couldn't help me so I asked for my money back. After that she said she could help me. Then she told me that ...she was working on it and haven't done anything for my case or communicated with me at all. I am so disappointed because I can't reach anyone besides the front desk I've emailed them I can't reach anybody. If anybody else knows how I can get my money back not help my case at all and I've been left in the wind and I'm losing custody of my daughter.
