We don't live in the Chicago, Illinois or Indiana area. Our mid-twenties son from a college town in Indiana, went with some friends to a concert in Chicago. They were stopped by the police as they tried to make their way out of town on city streets. A small amount of marijuana was found in the veh...icle. As the driver, our son was arrested (this was about six months before it was decriminalized) and his car was impounded. Our son spent the night in jail, then had to make his way back to Indiana with no resources. It was stressful. Jim was recommended to us as someone who could help through the attorney of an acquaintance of ours who lives in the Chicago area. Jim has never met us in person. Jim not only reassured us and got the process of getting the vehicle out of impound, he also knew how to navigate the system for something of this nature. Jim helped our son with his court appearance and eventual resolution of the matter - the misdemeanor charge was eventually vacated and Jim helped with advice and the process of getting our son's record expunged, the best solution possible for an unpleasant Chicago police encounter. We were so pleased with Jim's work and the care he took to explain to both our son and to us as well as his timely updates and work. I certainly recommend Mr. Dore!
