Christine Amanda Barone

Christine A. Barone joined DeLaney DeLaney & Voorn, Ltd. as an associate attorney in 2013.  She now devotes her legal practice to Elder Law, balancing her efforts between guardianships for adults with disabilities and decedent’s estates within the Circuit Court of Cook County, Probate Division. She expertly handles administrative hearings and appeals in the area of Medicaid and public benefits law. She is a loyal advocate for seniors and people with disabilities, and exhibits the utmost in professionalism at all times.

Ms. Barone is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She is a master of completing inventories and accountings, and enjoys the mathematical aspects of the practice.  

Ms. Barone graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from the University of  Iowa. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she also received a Certificate in Tax Law. While at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Ms. Barone worked as a legal research assistant for a law journal focusing on protecting those who cannot defend themselves. She has channeled that energy into her elder law practice. Additionally, Ms. Barone concentrated her studies in tax law, and completed a Tax Controversy Intensive, which significantly contributes to her knowledge of fiscal matters for her clients.
