We hired Tom and his team to enforce a Separation Agreement that was written 30 years ago. The issue was whether the life insurance company was required to distribute the policy to my mother-in-law or her ex-husband's second wife. Tom and his team, Matt Elster, and other members of his firm, were a...bsolutely terrific. They prepared a really good brief on the interpretation of the Agreement, which, unfortunately, was badly written. They kept us informed, answered our questions, and ultimately won so that the proceeds from the policy were distributed to my mother-in-law. I practice the same type of law as Tom and Matt, in another jurisdiction, and I was impressed on how they handled this case. I would refer them to anyone needing legal assistance on domestic relations issues. I really can't say enough good things about this firm.

I met with 4 lawyers prior to meeting with and hiring Tom. Divorce and the process of it, especially with young children involved, is not an ordeal I wish upon anyone. I have had many goals in life, divorce was never one of them. I don't write this from a dramatic standpoint but there were many tim...es in my situation that I felt gutted out emotionally. Without question, Tom is a problem solver, works well with others and is comfortable in court, something I needed during my more than overwhelming moments. Tom never made me feel like I was just another client, he made me feel as if my case was the only one he was working on. His communicative responses were excellent (within 24 hours or less) and often it was his voice of reason that helped put me at ease. Without question, time after time, over the course of almost a 2 year process, Tom had my back. I appreciate Tom's candidness and realistic approach, whether I wanted to hear it or not, he makes a point to keep his clients educated. With that being said, he was also an intelligent voice of reason that kept me grounded, well informed, and presented all angles before decisions were made. His CPA background and extensive knowledge of the law lend well to negotiation, another strength of his. Last, the reality is that it is important to pick a lawyer of whom you trust and has a personal style that is a good fit given all the personal, financial and marital information that must be shared. While there are many things in life I would do differently, hiring Tom Field is not one of them.

Tom was able to step in as my Attorney of record without any obstacles. I had a very long contencious divorce as well as continued problems throughout the last 10 years. Tom has overseen and directed custody issues, child support issues, orders of protection issues and continues to be a resource for ...ongoing problems with the non-custodial parent. Tom has been an enormous asset in this entire process and i woul ddefinately recommend him to anyone needing a Divore attorney. Toms council has been priceless.

Mr. Field also has an MBA which proved valuable in my unnecessarily contentious divorce. He constantly had to nudge the opposing counsel to get the job done and was always mindful of the costs involved. He handled the entire affair as a business transaction and was respectful of my wishes concernin...g the treatment of my wife and our businesses. I appreciate him and think he is a rare gem in the legal arena.
