We hired Atty. Hu on 2012, At first he asked us to give him all the documents, so we gave him what he needs but then it's been 6 months when we asked him about the letter from the immigration which if you filed something they will respond, but he kept telling us the he will mail it until he called u...s asking for money that he said that he need to get expedite so we send him the check for $3,000.00... A year later he called us and said he went out of country and he received another letter from the immigration that we need to pay the visa for my bother and sister's family ($2,000 for each family) so $4,000.00 so we gave him the money again because we really want our family to be together as soon as possible. After that we keep calling him and leaving him a voicemail about the updates but never get back to us as well as his secretary Karolina that we know that she also know what the atty. is up to... Until one time we went to his office to personally talk to him and the receptionist said they have not seen the atty. for long time. We have worked hard for that money for our family how can someone like him do this to us.

I hired Attorney Hu to file for a green card for my wife. I dealt mostly with his employee Karolina, who was very professional and very courteous. She kept us informed about our case throughout the process and when it was necessary we spoke with Attorney Hu directly. Overall Attorney Hu did a good... job and I would recommend his work to others.

Hired Shawn last year to file my wifes I-485 and I-795. He never filed the I-130 which to my understanding is automatic and a must. It takes me calling him several times before he answers in order for me to get any update on my case which is never much information. Ill leave him several voicemails an...d messages with his secretary and he never returns calls. It is now going on a year since we began our ordeal and we have yet to get our interview done and once again he has gone out of the country and can't be reached. I understand that lawyers have horrendous schedules and many cases but his service and attention to clients has been HORRENDOUS at best. the only reason I am still sticking wiht it is because I have already paid him all the fees and I do not wish to start back from square one wiht a new lawyer.
