Leon Joel Teichner

My wife and I recently worked with Mr. Teichner when we bought our first house. From the attorney review stage, all the way through closing, Leon was generous with his time and provided great service and counsel to us. He helped us understand the process and walked us through each phase. His rat...es were fair, and a great value for the quality work and support he provided. He's been in business for decades and is an expert in not only real estate issues, but also probate and family estate planning. Leon Teichner is highly recommended.

In my opinion, my dealings with him were beyond horrible. From the first phone call, it is evident that that he didn't listen to what I was asking for. He never prepared what I asked for, even though he requested and received the documents from me. By the time my mom passed, it was too late. ...I felt we always received terse, "brush off" answers and I believe he cost us thousands of dollars. I had to hire another attorney who is much more responsive and took the time to be sure we were on the same page. I would look to someone else If I was in need of an attorney. I wish I could leave zero stars.

In my opinion, Mr Teichner completely disregarded mine and my brother's request. He was asked to transfer the deed from our parent's house, before our mother's passing. We got the requested documents to Mr. Teichner. Additionally, I called and e-mailed asking what else was needed, as I assumed my mot...her was going to need to sign paperwork. Mr Teichner told me nothing else was needed. He then went on vacation and but the time he came back, our mother passed. Therefore, we were forced into probate. This error cost us time and a lot of money. We have since hired a new attorney who has been responsive, helpful, and professional. I do not recommend Mr Teichner for your probate and estate issues.
